REGULATIONS

Chapter 1. General provisions

  1. Conference is called „International Student Scientific Conference – Administrative regulation of internal security in Poland and the European Union”, hereinafter referred to the Conference.
  2. The Conference will be held on 01-02 June 2015, in room 222 of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Szczecin, which is located at ul. Narutowicza 17a, 70-240 Szczecin
  3. Organisator of the Conference is Administracyjne Koło Naukowe Wydziału Prawa i Administracji Uniwersytetu Szczecińskiego w Szczecinie (Administrative Student’s Association of Faculty of Law and Administration of University at Szczecin).
  4. In the framework of the Conference will be four thematic panels in Polish language and one thematic panel in English.
  5. Each Polish-language panel of the Conference consists of four speeches. English-speaking panel consists of six speeches.
  6. The maximum number of speeches in the Conference is 22.
  7. There are possibilities to take part in the Conference as an active participant, passive participant or unenrolled, hereinafter referred to Participants.

    In the title it is necessary to write the number of subaccount „0030″.
  9. The conference fee paid is not refundable.

10. The Conference is purely non-commercial, and all income from the conference fee is intended to cover the direct costs of the organization.

Chapter 2. Scientific Committee of the Conference

11. The Scientific Committee is established in order to select from among the abstracts submitted the 22 that will be presented at the Conference.

12. The Scientific Committee includes three academics teacher of the Chair of Administrative Law and Procedure of the Faculty of Law and Administration at University of Szczecin, and 3 members of the Administrative Student’s Association of Faculty of Law and Administration of University at Szczecin.

13. Members of the Committee shall choose from among themselves a Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the Committee.

14. Members of the Committee shall evaluate the abstracts, with no data on the author of the work. Identification abstracts will be made based on the participant’s three-digit code.

15. The Scientific Committee also resolved disputes and cases not included in the Regulations. Decisions of the Scientific Committee shall be taken by a relative majority. If the Scientific Committee will not be able to take decision – decision will be taken by the Chairman or Vice-Chairman of the Scientific Committee.

16. Individual abstracts will be evaluated by the Members of the Committee, in isolation, in a scale of 1-5, in each of the five categories, based on the form rating as Annex No. 1, until 14.05.2015 r. Abstracts on English-speaking panel will be evaluated separately.

17. Based on the six forms above mentioned will be created the sum of the abstracts scoring and will be prepared rankings. In case of a tie decisive sentence belongs to the Chairman, Vice-Chairman of the Scientific Committee.

18. Based on the rankings, as referred to in section 17, in accordance with section 6, emerges 22 works that will be presented during the Conference. Rankings will be presented at the www.wpiaus.pl/akn on 15/05/2015.

Chapter 3. Active participation in the Conference

19. Active participants of the Conference can be only active students of higher education, including postgraduate studies students, who make the application in accordance with section 12.

20. From the abstracts sent in the notices referred to in section 24, on the basis of point 16, the Conference Scientific Committee will select the 22 works that will be presented at the Conference.

21. Each Active participant of the Conference can be the author of just one paper in Polish language. In case of sending more work will be taken into account work which will place it above the title based on the alphabet. Permitted is apply, when apart of work in Polish language, will be sent also one work in English language.

22. The authors of one work can be a group of maximum three persons who meet the requirements set out in section 19 and 20. In this case, all persons must register as active participants, pay a conference fee , and inform organisators in e-mail about other authors.

23. Maximum time of speech is around 15 minutes of presentation and 5 minutes of discussion.

24. Submissions can be made by filling out all of the designated white areas of the active the Application Form, it is Appendix 2 of the Rules and send it to the address isscakn@gmail.com until 05/10/2015.

25. Abstract consists of up to 250 words, written in Times New Roman font, size 12, line spacing is 1.15, all the text is aligned and placed on the Application Form, it is Appendix 2 of the Rules.

26. For all the authors of works will be available multimedia projector. Acceptable formats are presentation .ppt and .pptx .pdf. Presentations should not contain video files. The presentation should be sent to the address isscakn@gmail.com not later than 28/05/2015.

27. People whose works become qualified, in accordance with section 18, shall be required to pay the conference fee for active participant in the amount of 10 Euro until 22/05/2015 year to the account number given in section 8.

28. In the case of non-payment of the conference fee in accordance with section 27, the participant will be removed from the list of active participants. Its place is taken by another person of rank, who has time to pay the conference fee until 25/05/2015 year.

29. The Active Participants will receive a response from the organisators which will include participant code, consisting of the letter „C” and a two-digit number. Moment of the receiving this code is a confirm of participation in the Conference.

30. The not-qualiffied people has the right to report to the Conference as a passive participant or unenrolled, in accordance with Chapter 4 or 5 of the Regulations.

Chapter 4. Passive participation in the Conference

31. The passive participants of the Conference can be students of higher education, including postgraduate studies students, who make the application in accordance with section 33.

32. The Conference passive participant can not be the author and co-author of the work.

33. Submissions can be made by filling out all of the designated white boxes of Application Form, it is Appendix 3 of the Rules and send it along with proof of payment to the address of the conference isscakn@gmail.com until 25/05/2015.

34. The conference fee passive of passive participation is 15 Euro. It must be paid to the account specified in Section 8 until 25/05/2015 year.

35. The Active Participants will receive a response from the organisators which will include participant code, consisting of the letter „B” and a two-digit number. Moment of the receiving this code is a confirm of participation in the Conference.

Rozdział 5. Unenrolled participation in the Conference

36. The Unenrolled of the Conference can be all natural persons who are 18 years of age and make the application in accordance with section 38.

37. The Unenrolled participant of the Conference can not be the author and co-author of the work.

38. Submissions can be made by filling out all of the designated white boxes of Application Form, it is Appendix 4 of the Rules and send it along with proof of payment to the address of the conference isscakn@gmail.com until 30/05/2015.

39. The Unenrolled Participants will receive a response from the organisators which will include participant code, consisting of the letter „S” and a two-digit number. Moment of the receiving this code is a confirm of participation in the Conference.

Chapter 6. Arrival registration of the Conference

40. Conference participants on arrival of the Conference are required to register.

41. Registration is done by presenting the participant code you received from the organizers, identity card and, if appropriate, proof of payment of the conference fee.

42. The active participants after registration of arrival will receive a certificate confirming taking part in the Conference, identity card of the Conference, conference materials package. After presenting the work by the active participants they will receive also certificate confirming presentation of the work.

43. The passive participants after registration of arrival will receive a certificate confirming taking part in the Conference, identity card of the Conference, conference materials package.

44. Unenrolled participants after registration of arrival will receive a paper that will let them join the Conference.

45. In the case of lack of registration of arrival during the time of registration participant is obligated to inform about this situation anyone of the organisators.

Rozdział 6. The running of the Conference

46. In the framework of each Polish-language panel of the Conference will be made four speeches. English-speaking panel consists of six speeches.

47. The carrying out of each panel corresponds to Its coordinator. The coordinator is the representative of the organizer. The coordinator can not participate in the panel as an active participant.

48. The time allowed for an oral presentation is 15 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for discussion.

49. The specified time is absolute and will be strictly enforced by the Coordinator of the panel.

50. Every present authors of the work have the right to participate in the discussion after the presentation. The right to ask questions also have all the current members of the Conference.

Rozdział 7. Final provisions

51. All the disputes and cases not included in the Regulations are resolved by the Scientific Committee.
