Students apply for the student card at their faculty's Dean’s Office (dziekanat) (visit it preferably with your tutor as you will have to cope with some forms in Polish). First, you have to go to the Dean's Office and register. Than you wait a few days (usually around one, up to maximum two weeks) so that your documents are forwarded to Kasa, where you have to go and pay 17 PLN. Issuing the card takes a few days – however it is necessary for you to be able to get around and enjoy your student life at discount prices.
